Vintage Collectible Lunch Boxes

We have over 1,500 Lunch Boxes consigned to us by a collector who regrettably must relinquish his complete collection.  He has really enjoyed collecting them over the years but now finds, as he and his wife have down-sized in their retirement, he just doesn't have room for them.

This collection includes very old metal lunch boxes, the first character lunch boxes, very hard to find vinyl lunch boxes, old plastic and metal lunch boxes, Sanrio lunch boxes, the newer metal lunch boxes, and, of course, the later plastic lunch boxes.

We have rated the lunch box condition and rarity in accordance with the standards used throughout the lunch box collecting world.  Specifically, we have used three rating guides.  They are:  "Pictorial Price Guide to Metal Lunch Boxes & Thermoses, 1994 Revised Version", Written by Larry Aikins, Published by LW Book Sales in Gas City, IN; "Pictorial Price Guide to Vinyl & Plastic Lunch Boxes & Thermoses, 1992 Version", Written by Larry Aikins, Published by LW Book Sales in Gas City, IN; and "Collector's Guide to LUNCHBOXES", by Carole Bess White & L.M. White, Published by Collector Books, Paducah, KY - 2001.
